At its core, the BSL-4 Laboratory is a building of layers — layers of defense, systems, and meaning. The architectural concept translates the invisible rigor of biosafety into a spatial experience of clarity and order. The building’s form is defined by nested enclosures: an outer shell of reinforced structure and environmental systems encases a controlled inner world of research suites and support spaces.
