With the goal of uniting more than 2,400 National Cancer Institute professionals under one roof, the 1.1 million-SF facility was constructed to fulfill the needs of scientific experts engaged in pioneering cancer research.

The project employs cutting edge technology in the design of the building, especially a "unifying and collaborative" lobby that explores the intersection of clinical technologies and patient care.
